W.A.L.K. 18.05.18 | CTC Recommends

What are you doing tonight? No plans?! It’s all good – CTC’s got you covered. Collective W.A.L.K. (With a loving kiss) are taking over Superstore tonight, and it’s gunna be a fun one. If you’ve not locked into this group of emerging artists blowing up the East London scene, now’s the time.

Their bi – monthly residency at the legendary Dalston venue showcases forward thinking and diverse individuals through great music, drag and performance art. It’s all about love, unity, and great music – the night is for everyone, and here at CTC we can’t argue with that.

As well as this bloody gorgeous artwork by the talented Mica Warren, this edition features Portuguese producer and special guest Violet headlining the basement, bringing classic house alongside ‘abrasive techno, mutant jack beats, and her own melodic, percussive productions’ – and before that THINGS DISAPPEAR & residents Tomboy & Ornography will be warming things up down below with acid, electro rave, and more besides.

Meanwhile upstairs, MEACH (Sisu Crew), Joshua Mooney (Netil Radio), and Melanin Monroe will be keeping the house and disco crew happy, with Unoriginal Minds, Fancy Shews, and Rhys’ Pieces performing on the bar and out and about!

Did we mention it’s free before 11? It doesn’t get much better than that. Start your weekend off right with a loving kiss, eh?
