We had a fantastic time at Lost Village festival last year, so we had to go back!

Set up by one of the best DJ duos in UK house music, Moda Black head-honchos and friends of CTC Jaymo & Andy George; this intimate party in the woods had us escape for three days. Here’s what went down in pictures, video and music.
We had our first boogie right there. Disco and sunshine – can’t go wrong.
Once the sun had set we started witnessing all kinds of weird and wonderful things…
…some of them freaked us out a bit.
Back to the music with solid sets by Huxley, Bicep and Mella Dee. And to finish us off Fatboy Slim on the Burial Ground stage, giving it everything he’s got, as he’s been doing so well for the last 20 years.
Saturday saw the Forgotten Cabin stage open.
After satisfying our Disco addiction with Artwork’s sexy selections, we head back to catch Gerd Janson.

Time for a walk in the woods as the sun is on its way down.
We happen to cross paths with torch bearers, getting a sense that something mystical is about to happen. We follow in their footsteps.
And we were right, they take us to a lit up lake where magical fireworks take place.
Time for a good ol’ knees up with one of our favourites providing proper party vibes, we stick around the Burial Ground for Heidi.
Night time is back and we go ‘hang out’ (quite literally) with some new friends.
…and dropping our favourite Mariah Carey remix, by the don David Morales. In the words of celebrity DJ Artwork, “we are having a f***ing lovely time”!

Sunday funday is upon us! We cure our hangover at our favourite craft beer spot, just at the end of this alley.
And we hang out with new CTC recruit and great producer Courage (remember the name). All bearing the family flag!

We meet yet more interesting creatures in the woods…
…then head to find our daily dose of Disco. This time it’s at the Lost Chapel, with the mighty Greg Wilson throwing some
We stick around The Forgotten Cabin for the rest of the evening…
…where our closing set of choice comes from DJ Koze, lighting up the end of an epic three days in Lincolnshire.
A festival run by two DJs who know the score when it comes to making people shake on the dancefloor; with lots of thought put into decoration, atmosphere, surroundings, sound quality and above all an excellent lineup. It’s a thumbs up from us. See you there next year!
