We’ve been sitting on this one for a while and it’s finally hatched. To celebrate the Rugby World Cup we’ve gathered together some of the finest DJs from eight different countries to battle it out in the Old Street Arena aka The Magic Roundabout on Sunday October 11th.
We’ve brought in Stefano Ritteri (Dirtybird, Defected) to represent his home nation Italy, CTC fav Frank McWeeny aka French Toast Radio host to embody all things France and local lad Earl Grey (Have a Killer Time) to bring a touch of English class. And if that weren’t enough for a humble Sunday, we’ve even brought Luke Million (Kitsuné, Nurvous, Future Classic) all the way from Australia to go back-to-back with a special guest DJ whose sets and releases have been finding their way to the dancefloors of the world’s biggest clubs.
With Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and Wales all getting a nod by the rest of the lineup, strictly disco on the decks, overhead heating, incredible burgers from Burger Bear, a stomping sound system and absolutely zero entry fee, it is an absolute no brainer. We’ll be providing the disco rarities and favourites from 3 to 11pm and if you can’t make it, the whole thing is being broadcast live on Hoxton Radio! This is going to be special — get attending over on Facebook and we’ll see you there.
